Which comment exactly was nasty Susie? Friendship has nothing to do with that. If someone is trying to correct a faulse situation by commenting on it, it doesn't mean s/he is your enemy.
As for "lowering"...the only thing that we lower here lately, is the standards and the quality of these webpages.

Going into Debenhams (for those non English - a department store) and they are putting up Christmas decorations. FOR PITYS' SAKE IT IS STILL OCTOBER!!!  Have I missed something but Christmas is December 25th?

Not just Christmas presents for sale - I can put up with that but actual decorations being put up in the shop, garlands, lights, etc etc
