Dear Catwoman

Although I think your choice of photo was misguided, I understand your point about the photo and language FF used. I saw it today and I was surprised. All the photos uploaded are usually a bit of fun but the use of the 'B' word just made that item a little too venomous. But I think name calling says more about the caller than the target don't you?

Maybe we can all take a good look at ourselves and see what is transpiring on this site at the moment. Several of us are making it an uncomfortable place for many unsuspecting people who visit the site. None of us claim to enjoy what is said yet we keep doing it. It's all got a bit 'tit for tat'.

We harp on about the conflicts in the world, then we create our very own. We can try and lay blame at each others' door but we should all share the blame. I personally blame my present menopausal adolescent status Where's the HRT?

What's done is done and maybe we should move forward. It doesn't mean we have to give up on the fun.

OK so I risk being ridiculed over this post, it really doesn't matter to me. Perhaps I'm Someone has to make the first move don't they? I'm noy proud.

Of course we can all say we have just as much right to be here as anyone and nobody should tell us what to do. The point is everyone also has a right to be able to come to the site and enjoy themselves. Perhaps we should all try to remember that we aren't the only ones on this site.

We don't have to be best buddies, but we don't have to rip each others' heads off either.

So, sorry if this sounds like a sanctimonious lecture, but there it is. Interpret it whichever way you want, it's meant sincerely.

Far from disagreeing with you, I complete agree. Perhaps it is time you stopped following every post of mine and ranting like a deranged lunatic? That is, presuming, you have decided to stay now.

AEnigma.....now that was not nice, was it? Your comments are very provocative, what do you expect? I know how wonderful you are and how much you work for animal rights, human rights...how about spreading a little kindness here?

Alameda dont lecture me about being provocative?!!! I have ignored most of Peace Train's comments to me (she can never avoid a personal snipe to date!).

Unfortunately, there are some people here who are unable to differ in opinion without taking things personally. Instead of agreeing to differ, or finding further proof of their argument, they take to personally insulting, or even worse, writing advice on how they think we should behave. I have insulted you recently (silly woman?) as I felt so strongly about the subject, but it is very rare for me to do that and I do apologise.

I wont, however, apologise for passionately defending human rights. To me, human rights is not something you just accept "because it is their culture". I am neither a rabid feminist, a menopausal woman having a mid life crisis, an anti-islamist, or any of the other names people want to call me. I respect anyone's personal faith and do not make a habit of debating it outside of this website. However, I wont respect aspects of religion which are violent, demeaning, hurtful, cruel and repressive. Sorry, that is just the way I am

Have a good night

Thank you for the flowers....I just got a bunch of stargazer lilys for my desk...they smell so sweet.

Today has been a rough day. I've noticed everyone seems to be on edge. Tomorrow is another day, we try again.

Take care sweet dreams.
