Ummm....I seem to have taken a wrong turn.  Does anyone in this bible study class happen to know what happened to Turkish Class? 

Ah, the very angry Christian religion, now I understand. You must really not like yourself. Because, yes, I DID read the Bible, and it says "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself" (levictus 19) ... you seem to think all people are useless, and their good actions are filthy rugs...

And if I remember my studies well, didn´t the Bible also state "But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also." (Mathew 5:39) Which has the same ati-vengance message as the "eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" remark.

 

I would advise you to open your Bible again, read the message of respect and love that it holds, and then come back to talk some more.

i will just tell you this: I grew up in multi religion family, my dad´s family is catholic, my mom´s family is christian, my grandpa and my uncle are ministers, i lived for 5 years in a jewish neighborhood and now i live in turkey and married to a muslim...

Let me point out some errors in your post. You say your dads side is catholic and your moms side is christian. Are you saying that catholics are not christian?  

Your grandpa was ministers, he was multiple ministers? Ministers of what if I may ask?

You lived in a Jewish neighborhood. And? Does this make you an expert on Judaism? (My friend never lived in Jewish neighbourhood, but he knows a lot of things on Judaism and history of Jews, I sometimes discuss some issues with him).

You married a muslim? What does it say to me? Does it mean that you know Islam better than me? Fine. Let things be your way.

I cant convince anyone. I wasnt given such power. But I am entitled to share my opinion. And my opinion comes from the Bible not from my family, not from my life in the Jewish neighbourhood, neither that my papa was multiple ministers.

FYI The Bible was written by prophets inspired by God. No one claimed that it was fallen from sky.

In this matter you are correct. I prefer to listen to Bible. Why would I want to listen to teenagers? Since when others possess better wisdom than the one in Bible?
