And if that man is the woman´s belligerent husband, it can lead to unspeakable acts and that really does down grade the man. . .down to that 1% - 4% mentioned in some other thread recently.

Jealousy is an emotion based on fear, insecurity, and anxiety. Being angry at a cheating wife is not jealousy. That is well-founded ager. Being angry at a wife who didn´t cheat, but you think she might be cheating is jealousy. It is an irrational emotion, primal. I never heard that anything good came from jealousy.
