Maybe they need to take blood tests because of the known ´dudu´ phenomenon... 
Somehow I don´t think the purpose is to detect Down´s syndrome!! 
Hmmm...now days they can find a whole lot more from someone´s blood. It can get expensive though.
The RH factor is not such a big deal. I know a couple of women who had RH negative blood with RH positive men with ho problems.

Better Turkish dudus leave a harmless but unmistakeable mark on their Western girls; which mark can be identified, thru a complicated series of blood tests, by good Turkish doctors.
Statistics show that this number rarely falls below 10 (ten). Only those ladies which measure 0 (zero) get to be Turkish bride. Turkish bride-to-be´s are also tested, so as not to hurt the feelings of Western girls.

i just used my constitutional law for freedom of speech...
please notice that i did not accuse ... i asked 
my lawyer will find you after taking institute proceedings against you for threat of suing me and score for sound the extent of moral damage...
