Yes... well i think they are all pretty easy, buttt... i dont get this one:
coups de pourquoi.. i cannot translate it and i cant find my dictionary. I know there are many sayings with coup, such as.. coup de foudre (love at first sight).. so i wouldn't know how to translate it.. What does its turkish translation mean?

I would translate it, in this context as the reasons why... sorry I couldn't resist translating the first verse!! But I'll leave you to do the rest as I don't want to step on any one's toes! But I enjoyed translating this from French to English
Ne me quitte pas
Don't leave me
Il faut oublier
It is neccesary to forget
Tout peut s'oublier
Everything you need to forget
Qui s'enfuit déjÃ
Which is already over
Oublier le temps
Forget the times
Des malentendus
Of the misunderstandings
Et le temps perdu
And the lost time
A savoir comment
To know how...
Oublier ces heures
Forget the hours
Qui tuaient parfois
Which sometimes kill
A coups de pourquoi
The reasons why
Le cœur du bonheur
The heart full of joy

No.. this is a good way.. because my translation is different.. so.. mayeb we can learn a little french in the meanwhile too
Dont leave me
We have to forget
Everything that can be forgotten
What already has gone away/Who already runs away (?)
Forgetting the times
Of the misunderstandings
And the lost times
To know how to forget these hours
Which sometimes kill,
With reasons, (or maybe is meant, without reasons)
A happy heart.

It is nice to see how two translations can differ. I enjoy French Well, you continue with your translation - but if you get stuck feel free to ask me. Or, afterwards, I can check it for you if you like. I hope one day my Turkish will reach the level of my French!

Moi je t'offrirai
I, i will give/offer you
Des perles de pluie
Pearls of rain
Venues de pays
Coming from countries
Où il ne pleut pas
Where it doesnt rain!
Je creuserai la terre
I will make the earth hollow
Jusqu'après ma mort
Untill after my death
Pour couvrir ton corps
To cover your body (with this earth i suppose)
D'or et de lumière
Of gold and of light
Je ferai un domaine
I will make a region/place
Où l'amour sera roi
Where love will be king
Où l'amour sera loi
Where love will be law
Où tu seras reine
Where you will be queen (love this sentence!)
Ne me quitte pas
Dont leave me (4 times)
Ne me quitte pas
Don't leave me
Je t'inventerai
I will creat you
Des mots insensés
Crazy/mad/insane words
Que tu comprendras
That you will understand
Je te parlerai
I will talk to you
De ces amants-lÃ
About those lovers
Qui ont vu deux fois
That have seen twice
Leurs cœurs s'embraser
their hearts embracing eachother
Je te raconterai
I will tell you
L'histoire de ce roi
The story of this king
Mort de n'avoir pas
Of not having death (??)
Pu te rencontrer
Could've met you
Ne me quitte pas
Dont leave me
On a vu souvent
We have often seen
Rejaillir le feu
The fire spatting out
D'un ancien volcan
Of an old volcano
Qu'on croyait trop vieux
That we thought was too old
Ok now my msn gets too busy to go on

well, I think I should have some english mistakes, so maybe you can correct them.
and I like the version of Nina Simone of this song, too. It's funny to hear the American French But her voice is really nice.
Esther if you can, record while your singing and send it to me
