I heard a slightly different version of this:
If you love someone, set them free - if they come back, they were always yours. If they don't come back, they were never truly yours to begin with. AND if they are still sitting on the sofa making a mess and hogging the remote control - you married them !!!!

But it did bug a lot of people that if someone doesn't seem to like or have anything nice to say about Turkey, and was only ever posting negative or provoking posts, then why spend so much time here. There are lots of people on here with different stories, backgrounds, beliefs etc. Some feel passionatley about different things, but in all honesty, can anyone give any reason as to why she was here posting so much? This is a turkish class site, and all she did was critisize Turkey. Sure, it's good to have debates, its good to hear different sides to things. But there's a difference between that and just being here to provoke. I personally feel she was just doing it for attention. There were times when the site was a bit quiet so she would just randomly start questioning things and people I'm not saying I don't want her here. She contributes a lot to the site, her and her partner in crime AEnigma I'm just saying, don't complain because she hasn't posted in a week. It does my head in when people complain about being bored, make your own fun. |

The people “crying†that femme and Aenigma are missing DO contribute to this site and make it interesting and DO challenge others with their posts.
You say she contributed a lot to the site but in your dissertation here I see nothing but bashing on femme and those missing her wit. And saying she was asked to leave is rather speculative, don’t you think? I don’t see her name on the deleted user list.
As for her reason for being here and posting so much, why would that concern you? Like you said, we all have our own stories. What makes her reason any less valid than anyone else that comes here? You certainly have spent a good deal of time posting recently, should we all guess as to the reason?
