Hmm there is a like feature now. But I think that the original poster shouldn´t be able to like himself/herself.{#emotions_dlg.confused} Admin, is it a deliberate feature or bug?

I don´t get the point of this new like/ dislike button for forum posts. What happens if people dislike ? it is deleted or something ?

EDIT : just realised the option is not to say dislike. Only like, then can hit it to unlike to take back to nothing not actually show dislike.

It´s ´like´ and ´unlike´ not like/dislike.   I just ´liked´ your post!  (didn´t really just wanted to try the function - now I´m going to ´unlike´ it - mwahhahahaha!!!

......and as one....we realised the same thing!!! lol

P.S.   If I promise to ´like´ all your posts will you ´like´ all mine??

HEHE you were too slow , I already just noticed that myself

But to be honest I still don´t see what the point of it is. Who needs to know who likes which post. The replys show this anyway

See my edit to my last post!!

Actually, I agree, I think its a pointless function.  Another site I belong to has this function and I always thought it was a bit ridiculous (sorry admin )

Deleted some posts that are not related to ´reporting problems´.

Now that we have now a new feature ´like´, I think there should be ´dislike´ as well! Because it is equally important to know who your fans as well as who your enemies are! Hehe!

I agree....what is the point of the "like" button? FWIW, it seems silly to me.

It is not a feature and it is not a bug. It is just not specifically blocked. You will not get brownie points for liking your own posts so I don´t think it is a problem. It will only expose more narcissistic people

If this functionality feels pointless/ridiculous/silly you can simply choose to not use it. It may be useful for judging the quality of translations or language-related posts. It may also be helpful for noticing more thoughtful posts among the rest.

{#emotions_dlg.shy} - well I´m feeling mean now. I never thought of translation quality/language posts.

So what happens when you click like then? I just clicked it on a translation I thought was rather good and it just turned into unlike. Am I missing something?
