My Türkçe is not good enough to be abkle to speak on the phone - I rely on seeing body language to communicate as well..... |

My turkish is worse But I m lucky enough to be able to communicate in english. And OF COURSE I can say "alo" and "hadi bye" perfectly in their language

Interstingly, all the books seem to say that people say "alo" when they answer the telephone - but my experience in Turkia is that people use "efendim" to answer the telephone :-S

You are right, they use efendim. It's more polite. They use to say alo when they can't hear well. But no matter what they say when they answer the phone, I answer with a long, meaningful "aloooooooooooo"

It is mildly bugging me that I am going to see Nizlopi tonight and that I can't decide what to wear.......but that is something I am used to!!!

Currently I am removing the hair from my legs to give me more clothing options - but I've got as far as my knees.....the worst part to eppilate!!! Epillating my knees is bugging me as well now!
