accusative...
odaSı, rüyaSı, karıSı, etc...( S is between the two vowels)

there are only two words which are irregular...

here is one of them: suYu (now Y is between the two vowels)

so what is another word?

Certainly good question! I am curious about the answer.

Kedi - Kediyi?

How do you tranlate "I have two cats" then? I thought it would be "Iki kediyi var"?
Or: "I see the cat"? All the time I thought that that would be "Kediyi görmüyorum"?

Have I been so wrong all the time?

(I know, I know, still a lot to learn. But I'm working on it! )

İki kedim var.

İki kedisivar.= He/She has two cats.

You are right at this point.
Kediyi görüyorum=I see the cat or Kediyi görmüyorum=I don't see the cat. But,

'KediYi(=kedinin kendisini)gör(m)üyorum/I (don't)see the cat itself.' is different than 'KediSini gör(m)üyorum/I (don't) see his/her cat.'

I am under impression that you are about to grasp Turkish completely in just few months. Maybe you already grasped it, you don't just want to show?

Thanks a lot, you made it clearer for me now! I just mixed up different things I guess.

Wow, Cyrano, you almost make me blush! If I would know more Turkish, I would certainly show it! Not in a boastful way, but I definitely wouldn't keep it to myself. In my case, what you see is what you get

This situation or your question have been bringing the idiom huyu-suyu to my mind, but I don't know why? Maybe you know and give me the answer?

(I am about to die beacuse of my curious!)
