Stupid songs that we like :)

Did you also have an experience when you liked a really stupid song? This happens to me especially with Turkish songs that I have no clue about lyrics of lol. For example, there is this really great ( lol ) song, called "Felsefe" by Hakan Peker that everybody makes fun of hehehe, but I like it so much - I mean the rhytmicity and the sound of the language is beautiful! lol.

I have the same with Japanese popsongs, the rhytm is perfect, the language sounds good but I only understand one or two words....

Ooo yes I have noticed a worrying tendency towards "lounge lizard" music lately !! I have been known to hide Frank Sinatra and MUCH WORSE cds in Radiohead or Muse CD cases!!! ...

My most shameful loved song is "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" the....offff...Andy Williams version!!!

...well, I can just as well admit that I have a hang up for eurodisco/techno... :-S

...hey...go to Turkey and find out what music is played on every touristic place... lol ...you better just stick around with us, girl...and just wait til you hear about our plans!!! ...if you dig your way down the old tc archives you can find our postings on how to make Turkey a feminist republic! lol
