I have the same with Japanese popsongs, the rhytm is perfect, the language sounds good but I only understand one or two words....

Ooo yes  I have noticed a worrying tendency towards "lounge lizard" music lately !! I have been known to hide Frank Sinatra and MUCH WORSE cds in Radiohead or Muse CD cases!!! ... 
My most shameful loved song is "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" the....offff...Andy Williams version!!!

This is going to completely ruin my credibility on this site...
But I have always like most of the songs on Hande Yener's "Sen Yoluma Ben Yoluma" CD.
Even still, I enjoy the title track on it.
