thnx for your interest! at first! actually my idea is better than meeting once in summer or so! we need to orginize eachother and share our knowledge! becoz lots of ppl is from istanbul here turk or foreigner... it doesnt depend! we would just exchange our knowledges and plus we would have fun and we know eachother well! coz the spirit and the atmosphere in here is amazing... and we need to feel this more

so see ya...
good luck

p.s. this doesnt mean that your idea is bad! and its great too! thnx for interest again!and i am in lets have fun

It would be a nice idea if we nominate few cafés or café/restaurants for the members here to vote for and the winner café would be the hangout place and the meeting point for all the Turkish class members, somewhere nice and spacious as well.
Maybe we can announce certain days in the year to meet there or it would be a meeting place every Sunday in addition to it being a hangout place.

Great idea!!!
I wish I could be with you.I told many times it is my greatest wish to go to Istanbul one day.I wish all luck and if I could not make it, then know my heart will be with you.
With best wishes to all Bliss

Yes, great idea, Sui
Although at first moment you obviously didn't count at us, people outside of Istanbul, seems we invited us ourselves.
So, I like bab's idea about the hangout place – you people from Istanbul could meet there every Sunday (or any other day), and we others would know where we can find you, in case we have luck to come to Istanbul.

OK, we are not going to wait till the cows come home and the grass starts growing under our feet, are we??
I think it's about time we all step out of that dark virtual world and see what the real world has to offer
I'll be in Istanbul from 8 till 13 April, I would be honoured to meet you people!

Peki, güzel bir fikirim var

What about next Sunday, 9 April? 14:00? We meet at Galata Kulesi for example, and see where we go from there?
Other suggestions are welcome of course!

Ohh you make me jealous, ablacım

But I'm sure Istanbul looks gorgeous in autumn as well, Istanbul'da sonbahar So i vote for a meeting in autumn as well and then my man will take me there. I think especially Ramayan will feel honoured to meet the man who's name has been mentioned frequently in my posts (as well as in ramayan's )

Nevertheless i wish you a great time, and if you drink, say cheers for me

And Sui was on charge for those meetings.

when my parents brought me back to my hometown when i was little i usually run away from garden and go down the near river to collect wild flowers... and jump to the lake in the river that cold water... and laying on the rocks...
ahh childhood..
