I think that the restrictions are so unfair and I hope they would be cancelled soon so you can travel freely like anyone else

and you can say: kabul ediyorum

It is really unfair that it is so hard for turkish citizens to even go on holiday in other countries. It took me and my husband four months to get a visa for going to my home country the first time.

I'm curious if any of you (Turks) have had to pay 75 ytl for the Turkish government when you go abroad? Apparently you have to do it everytime.

Yes. Everytime. It's 70 YTL by the way. At the beginning, it was USD 50 and it was very tiresome because you had to buy USD 50 and pay it as USD 50. Maybe it'll be 15 YTL in the near future (next year I guess) and those who don't have to pay for it will also pay from then on.

Personally, I think the restrictions are rather silly.

Of course restrictions are needed, but the extent to which these restrictions are enforced I see as ridiculous... for someone to visit me only for a week we have had to go through so much paperwork and complication...

I could understand this if England was not riddled with so many illegal immigrants scrounging off of our government and giving our country absolutely nothing in return...

I don't see how one person visiting me for a week needs to analysed and complicated any more than allowing the lazy idiots into our country which we do!
My opinion- it's unfair to overcomplicate some things which do not neccessarily need to be complicated, whilst handing out homes, luxuries and money to undeserving people.

...Just my opinion!

Of course there should be freedom of travel! If I can travel around almost all the world without any problems, because most visa are just formalities (only like Iran, Saoudi Arabia etc I need lots more) why shouldn't someone from Turkey be allowed to do the same? We are talking about a visit, a holiday, not emigration!
