I am the same way, i listen to the tapes over and over and do the vocabulary tests on this site daily. I just can't seem to retain things enough to start building sentences and my boyfriend is not the greatest teacher not because his english is bad but because i'm a whiney baby and tend to turn everything into an arguement. But I start to realize all the sudden... wow I recognize that sentence, because I read all the translations on here and that helps. So maybe your just a slow learner like me we will get it, even if it takes years.
I just want to add that you had a post on here before regarding some money you were sending and that you trusted your man would pay you back, there was just a huge topic regarding this and I just hope your not one of "those girls".
