What an exciting topic! (I wonder what men would write on the topic of 'Your Good Woman' - I fear to think...)

All the things that have been said so far are just so good, it seems that we all want to have angels, semi-gods! If the demand for such people was really as high as it seems, then all men would have to adjust or they would never find any girl willing to be with them. In reality I think many girls do go for good looks first, then money, then how good is he in telling us the most beautiful words we can imagine... etc.
The man you ask for is NOT that sexy, handsome stranger with dreamy eyes you met in the hotel and who whispered in your ear 'seni seviyorum' the night you met him!
BUT he might be the shorter, chubbier, less tanned, shy boy standing in the corner and watching you quietly as you pass by... are you going to notice and fall in love with him?

To become a person as described above, one must really have a lot of ambition in life, self discipline, lots of brains, strength, and modesty! These are things that one has to develop almost always against popular trends and convenience. He also has to question even his closest environment and be able to recognize things that are wrong, which is quite difficult to do because who we are largely depends on how and where we grew up.

To find a man of so many virtues, the girl also has to be like that. She also has to be able to resist temptations and nurture the highest qualities in herself even when sometimes it feels like there's no point to it. Sometimes we just want others to be perfect but cut ourselves a slack. In reality nobody is perfect and people have to be also able to forgive each other and tolerate some imperfections and just keep learning and getting better.

Somebody said once that "love is a constant process of self perfection"... sounds about right to me .

He must think like Nietzsche!

"You go to a woman? Do not forget your whip!"

Look at that - we have another Nietzsche on the site! I suppose that whip is very useful for the girl to use it on you!

Nice ^^
I posted my two major criteria and now I am adding another criterion.
(3) He should be SMARTER AND TALENTED than me so that the kids will inherit those attributes. I just love the idea of raising gifted children. I teach and in my country, a teacher's son or daughter is always expected to excel more than any other students in the class.
Kids.. make your Momma proud!

Thanks people!!!!

PS. I am posting another topic for Catwoman (let's check the boys about their idea of "Your Good Woman")

I once heard this quote: "I love you for what I am when I'm with you." I think that is very true, in that someone you really love will have a positive influence over you, bringing out the best in you, when you're together (making you happier, louder, etc - but in a natural way). Well, that's what I want most of all in a man
