The Kurdish language is an Iranian language spoken in the region called Kurdistan, including Kurdish populations in parts of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey. The languages are very different to one another (i find kurdish very difficult to learn)..........check it all out on wikipedia (will give you some help im sure)

Wrong question to ask a Turk what is the difference between Turkish and Kurdish (language or any other related topic).
But answering your question it is very simple to tell the difference between the two languages.
If a sentence has an X, W or Q in it then you know its not Turkish 
But as Smile said, check out that website for more information.

Whats so horrible about asking someone the difference between kurdish and turkish?
I could see how someone would take offense if they said there was no difference between turkish and kurdish.
But to only ask the question seems pretty innocent.

+1 It does seem like rather an over-reaction to an innocent question. Attitudes like this just exacerbate problems. And I wont even mention about it being posted in "News and Announcements" because that is Mary's job now

Oof don't bite my head off! I was just saying that some Turks as you see do not like to be even considered being the same as Kurds, it is only my suggestion and I did not bite her head off! I even gave an axample of why the language is different! yeesh!
