Quoting MrX67: i believe that thats a dirty game of some politicians, and some intellectuals who feeding with hate. They trying to keep their postions with this sort of enemies...and i believe there are many Armenian friends who bored with that |
you are absolutely wrong my dear! this question of history must be finalized! it must be finally closed! armenians never will stop calling for justice. (just imagine if instead of armenians it were turks who were genocised! you would behave the same way as armenians if no worse).
when this question comes up again and again turks reject it repeatedly saying that nothing of that took place. then what happent to 1,5mln armenians? have they committed sucide altogether?
you simply cant leave the case without clearing it. it simply wont go away!

Is this a metaphor? I don't understand what you mean by "dream country"??? I was in Turkey and it didn't exactly look like heaven either, so there must be something else you mean by it.

I didnt even read all the posts in this discussion. I am getting tired of those 'discussions' because they dont fit the meaning I have of discussion. İn a discussion you tell each other your ideas in order to come to a conclusion together. Ofcourse, sometimes you cant get to the same idea, so be it. But the idea is to start open-minded and 'LİSTEN' to wat the other has to say, before you nod your head and say no and try to overflow the other with your own arguments.
If Turks say 'leave it to historians and not to politicians' then just leave it to historians. May they be open-minded and genuine about their knowledge. No nation is without blood on its hands. If I was Turkish or Armenian, in both cases I would not be proud. I wouldnt be proud of my history and I wouldnt be proud of my current behavior.

do u know at least a bit of this 'never-ending story'? how can anyone come to a common conclusion over 1.5 mln civillians? have u thought that no historians worked over this case?
i agree with u, no nation is pure. but some nationalists here claim to be the holiest nation under the sun.
and they declare its a heaven to live in. is it? u live there, u live in heaven!

1.5 mln? A big lie.
Relocation took place in something like 3 months (let's say 100 days). So if it was true, 1,500,000/100days = 15,000/day. That's quite an effort to bury them every day. The route followed during the journey is known. They must have been buried along that route. Let's say the route was 1000kms again another simple math gives us 1,500,000/1,000km = 1500/km. They must have been buried in masses. They could show us where they buried and we could excavate there instead of talking of some crazy numbers, right? Who do you think have come to a common conclusion? Be more specific.

dont use the word "lets say", be more specific.
do u question of killing 15 thousand a day? is it really hard to deal with civillians? i dont consider it is a trouble for soldiers.
from where did u take 1000km? and why are u relating 1000km to 1.500000? i dont see the logic.
sorry, this is not an arguement. this is not an arguement to wash up the guilt.
sorry, i'll have to dig in the libraries again.
this is a very interesting subject, that i had no chance to study never good enough.
btw, have i ever said that someone came to a common conclusion? u havent read the posts carefully, have u?
