this information is not true! it must be western journalists who made up the stories. esp bbc and cnn who rule behind all the worlds newspapers and info sources. western liars! they manipulate with such stories so that the whole world thinks bad on such countries, they destroy the holy reputation of holy nations. they wanted to spoil the kurban bayram atmosphere. its again a slap for arab and arab-related countries. these nations have great history, they had great empires which westerners didnt have (according to some smart "selfmade historians").

i dont believe this happent, its a huge lie! we can be proud of that our women are always respected and under a great protection (sometimes under burka), they protected in a way that such incidents do not take a place because women are kept home, safe and happy. there at home they enjoy the true freedom.
it happens only to american or european chicks who are not protected by coverings. who do not hide their weekness. no wonder shes raped!

cheese from al-jazeera!

Aman tanrım, şunu inanmiyorum...
Even though Turkey is a country with great history doesn't mean there doesn't exist bad people there, because obviously there do. Or are you denying that rape and other crimes occur at all?
I'd like you to explain why you think that women should stay in their home with a burka in order not to get raped, because I have never heard that from a fellow woman before.
Look, in history women wore veals to cover themselves from the heat and dirt, as they rarely bathed (like men also did), but since then it has changed into what we see it as today "protecting their beauty" and so on.
When a woman doesn't wear a burka doesn't mean she's inviting men to rape her, it means that she wants to be treated the same way as men and that she is not a weak doll. When a man sees a woman not wearing a veil and he feels he has the right to rape her, he has a serious psychologic problem and he is a danger to society.
It is that type of men that are wrong, not women who simply wants to be respected and treated equally, because that's what they (we) do.

The girl in question was simply visiting her boyfriend and went outside for a minute, for gods sake. She never did anything wrong, certaintly didn't intend to get gang raped that's for sure.
I don't understand how you can deny it and say that it was her fault. Also, Turkey is a secular country (well, partly). What about women studying at universities? Is that a giant gang rape waiting to happen or what? Should they bend down and accept a 100 year old fate?
I am utterly shocked.

If you're joking don't mind this post.
