I use to work in a Turkish restaurant in England. I recommend it as I still go there very often.

Anyone who wants to try it out...

Thanks

Maybe you live too far though, but I thought I would give it a post!

Offffffff Stoke on Trent is too far for me to go for a meal . There are no Turkish restaurants near where I live, which is such a shame because it is my favourite food

Lots of Turkish restaurants here in Rotterdam too, from simple lokanta (there is one at 150m from my house - delicious kebap!) to classy restaurants.

Well I love Turkish restaurants too but do I really need to go to one? when I can cook it for myself, or get a family member (mainly my Turkish uncle - ex chef) to cook it for me lol

Actually I suppose going to a Turkish a restaurant is a break from cooking at home once in a while

Shame I wasn't there, I would cook for you

I did tell my man that I could cook and when I was eating dinner tonight he asked me, "what are you having?" and when I said "moussaka" his face nearly fell through the floor and a broad grin came across his face like this >>
All he said was "I love you even more " lol
Typical bloke....wouldn't change him for the world though

+1....I know the feeling....met these two guys when on holiday on a boat trip (me not being interested, though my sister was lol) and they waved etc but nothing happened but my sister was like "OMG SOOO FIT!!!" (oh my god soooo good looking) lol

Anyway two days later we saw them in a store when we bumped into them when both buying water!... My sister said "OH MY GOD!! ITS FATE!!!" lollollolLOOOOOL she will kill me if she knew i was writing this lol

OH how I adore curry! Kadir loves curry aswell but his favourite is fish and chips!!

lol I had fish and chips the other day :-S It's the only british meal I've had in a long time....moussaka, köfte, curry (though it is the most common meal eaten in Britain), Fajita etc etc lol

Maybe you just need to ask at the right time

İn the meantime just try to find another job in another restaurant. Restaurants are more likely to hire people with previous experience, but youve got to start somewhere ofcourse (make sure that the contract doesnt make it difficult for you to quit your job when you find a place at the turkish restaurant you wanted).
