OK this story is a true story because I know the people extremely well.....anyway....

It's not cyber love but they met through a news paper, which has the same situations as cyber love because you don't really know who they are. Anyway they spent weeks on the phone to each other maybe months (not entirely sure how long) but they decided to meet, not knowing how each other looked like but only knowing their voice.

They decided to meet in a pub where they had a few drinks and got to know each other a little and where the woman's friends were secretly at another table to make sure the guy wasn't a weirdo or anyone like that lol.
After realizing he was a genuine guy the womans friends left and the man and woman got into their own cars and headed off to a restaurant to have a meal

After several meetings etc they told their family, they eventually moved in together, they got married (the man asked the woman to marry him on top of the empire state building - in New York ) and after more than 7 years from meeting eachother, they are still together and happily married!!!

i read the topics on the site cyberlove.com and i had the same story so i borrowed the lines:
I would like to talk about the IRC primarily. Initially I did not believe that a relationship could begin from this, how could I have come to know someone when all I saw were black letters on a screen and not even a voice to behold.

It was completely accidental, the way we met, we've never even knew of each other before. One night just out of boredom I connected to the net and went into a chat room. I initiated the conversation by clicking his nick because his nick seemed familiar to me. We began talking and he gave me his e-mail address and I gave mine too. My friends told me that love in the net is 100% lies and I didn’t believe them. Not telling what had happened next, we had it, but ended up easily. I think cyberlove comes instantly and gone instantly too.

I’m not saying all, maybe other chatters were lucky enough to find their partners in life thru this way. Well wishing them the best of bests.
