Dağda, yılan da bu yüzden ona hayranken o, hayranlık duyacak basit, değersiz şeyler arar.
Thanks!

I have a different "spin".

"In the Mountains, (we all agree), Also while the snake therefore admires (someone or thing), the admirer will listen simply, worthless things hunt" As written the "değersiz şeyler" is the subject not the object of "arar". Maybe some of the Native Turks has a different idea.

Thank you for all your help! This is a short story from Mevlana! About a Snakemaster, who is searching in the mountains for something to let admire the audience, then he finds this big snake!A very big snake! So may be the sentence can be translated as: In the mountains, the snake admires him(= the snakemaster) too, because he is looking for basit, değersiz şeyler to let admire (the people).
Could that be right??
