Well it's not to me he is being annoying to, but my old friend from Turkey (Ismail) keeps calling my friend (Katy) after she told him thousands of times she is NOT interested!
He was calling her at 2:30-3am! and then when she finally told him to "go away" (nice way of putting it) he started calling her all different names etc and then 10 minutes later he was saying "sorry, i love you! please be my gf"

A wise man in Istanbul has a 100% effective solution to this problem!  Too bad he won't let me share the secret. Good luck to anyone in this situation.

This is a fairly common problem I'm afraid for foreign women. I recently helped Cap with her situation and I've helped 6 or 7 other friends as well. To this point, ithas been 100% effective. Never another phone call, text message or email.

well they can't send me text messages or phone me..but its the messages that bug me..
and yes they do range from 'orospu' to 'i really love you':-S
a) im married
b) psychopathic tendencies are not attractive/appealling
i just hope this person gets the hint

well the person got the hint..which was the intention ..and i wasn't using rape as a joke at all.u misconstrued it i think..what i meant was by saying there's never any smoke without fire isn't true..and i used rape as an example..pick any other crime if u want..

Some people here complain about the amount of spam PM's they get. Spamming is a pain, but as long as spammers do it through PM's, I'm not bothered by them because I don't notice it.
Spamming on the forums is quite another thing though.. It is utterly annoying because it's forced upon me
Since the people mentioned above have no problem with mentioning the PM spammers' names in public, I think they won't mind seeing names of public forums spammers?

Huh? how does that work exactly?
The people who said about putting spammers up were to throw them a hint to stop using this site for the one reason of hoping to find "love" or as a dating agency!
Also after several cases to posting more than one spam to the same person as well as sending it to others do they not deserve to be showed in public?
As for the people who suggested it, they haven't done anything wrong. They just want to be a member of this site without being poked at to "be my gf/bf" etc because unlike spammers they have reasons to be a memeber of this site....like trying to learn Turkish for a start.

But it is a bit like saying "hey look at me I am popular because I get loads of spam" I think it encourages more spam. Who really cares who gets what spam, do as I do and deal with it, no fuss. If someone spams you more than once, maybe they have forgetten who they have spammed - hint for spammers, make a list of who you have spammed!
