There are many people who when asked in profile about gender put NONE.
Does this mean that males and females don't understand what it means?
For those who don't know what it means (are you male or female).

I guess they doon't specify their gender for the reason that they don't think they belong to either of the given choices?!

Strangely, a large percentage put none. I was trying to remember the word which meant neither male nor female. I thought it began with a U ???

Hey, since you talk about genders, I want to ask a question that has been in my mind for a while.
What's the difference between gender and sex?

Here is an answer to that (I just did a little research)
Sex = male and female
Gender = masculine and feminine
According to my source.. sex refers to biological differences; chromosomes, hormonal profiles, internal and external sex organs while gender describes the characteristics that a society or culture delineates as masculine or feminine.

Maybe it would be nice if our administrators (or the ones who keep this site up to date) could also put AGE in it?
I mean, i would understand if you would rather keep your age to yourself (tho actually, whats there to be ashamed of?!)
I often notice I would like to know what age people are, just..as in being curious? Or maybe wondering why someone says such beautiful things? Due to life-experience?
And I've always preferred GENDER over SEX.. because then you always have those 'funny' people, that say:
Gender: female / male (whatever)
Sex: anyplace, anytime, anywhere
