Hı everyone,
How are we all? I am currently at my gırlfrıends apartment ın Istanbul dıstrıct of Beylıkduzu I am doıng the housework and a few chores around the home, Nes told me to take ıt easy as I thınk I have the flu? I thınk ıt was the flıght over from the U.K. the aeroplane was very stuffy and ıs a breedıng ground for germs wıth the recycled aır cırculatıng. Thıs ıs my thırd trıp to Istanbul and the most lonelıest one of them all, Nes ıs workıng all day and I mıss her wıshıng we had more tıme together durıng the day but she has to work so I have to be patıent, we just make the most of the tıme we have together when she ıs free, I hope everyone ıs okay and I wıll drop by agaın soon

Janissary is right. Get an akbil and put 25 YTL on it. You can spend the day in Taksim area, Sultan Ahmet, or just get off every stop on the metro between Taksim and Levent for 30 minutes and walk around. You are close to the airport so the train cant be very far from where you are staying. Don't sit inside all day!!!

I am sorry you are so sick and feeling lonely. I joined Omer in Istanbul for ten days in Dec/Jan, and we both were deathly ill. We started with the chemist, but actually had such fever an coughing we went to a doctor. Tylol hot- was a short term solution, but when I returned home a Z-pack- (6 days of antibiotics) Zithromax- healed us both. Omer had to work three days of my time there from 3-5am, and I was so lonely. I didn't want to tour or walk or anything. I found keeping a journal and cooking in his absence to be fulfilling. I wish you the best of the rest of your stay. Hopefully soon you will be together for a LOOOOOng time.

Great that you 2 are reunited again! Like they said, look around, its gonna be fun. But I will be in pretty much the same situation as you in Feb when I go see my guy. Cuz he will have to work too. But he isn't currently in Turkey. So no bılet or anything for me =D

Hi Rich,
I am so glad that you made it over to Istanbul to see Nes. I am sorry that we could not meet up in December when I was there with Yilmaz, but maybe in the future.(As I told you before we got engaged in December and will probably split our time between the US and Turkey in the future) I guess I am very lucky, when I go to visit Yilmaz, he is able to take off from work and spend the whole time with me.
Well happy times with Nes and hope you are feeling better soon!!

Christıne İ hope you and Omer are much better now after your sickness as İ wrıte this updated message İ am feelıng better than İ dıd before when İ wrote. Hello Wendy yes we certainly should meet up, you are very lucky that Yilmaz can take time off work when you come it is very ımportant to spend as much time as you can with each other every precious minute of your time in Turkey İ find is so invaluable. Update:
Hi everyone,
Just had some great news, Nesrin will have three precious days off next week she surprised me the other night by telling me she managed to get these days off to spend with me. İ am so happy it is like a gift for me. İ know how hard Turkish people work really they are very hard workers and İ myself livıng in England do not realise how much time with my job İ have to relax afterwards. İ hope also to announce some good news very soon, we have talked about engagement and was due to get engaged last December 2006 but there was various reasons we could not but now there are no reasons why not. İ have found a woman İ love İ can honestly say that she is my true love, infact before Nesrin there were partners who İ could never say İ was in true love with.

23 years!!!!  Woman go out and buy yourself some roses, chocolates, a bottle of good wine and bubble bath and soak and drink those sorrows away!!! Believe me it works wonders!!! Besides you're worth the wine, the chocolates and then some!!!!!!
