lol Well, when I eg. speak to my sister in law yes it does annoy me when she doesn't tell me how she feels (or, that she doesn't think that I want to know how she feels). But I completely understand the use of "thank you" and I'm not bothered by it. It's just the use of the language and it's normal.

Atasözü veya deyim...
It's is from a 400 page book of 15,080 such Turkish sayings compiled by Feridun Fazıl Tülbentçi and published in istanbul 1963 by Inkılap ve Aka kitabevleri. (Fiatı 10 liradır)
