There are currently 20.8 million refugees living in the world right now with little or no food, scant shelter, and unclean water. Of these 20.8 million refugees, 9 million are children with no Right To Play and living in the same conditions horrid conditions.

Ninemillion.org is a UN Refugee Agency-led campaign to help bring education and sport programs to many of the world's nine million refugee youth.

You can help just by surfing the web from now through March 31, 2007. Each time you search using this link http://click4thecause.live.com/Search/Charity/Default.aspx, Microsoft will contribute to ninemillion.org. All contributions will benefit ninemillion.org to support educational programs for refugee youth.

Find out more at about this issue at these sites:

What a campaign! It almost brought tears to my eyes! Is this just another confession of Mr.Gate$? What if Micro$oft itself is one of the main reasons that there are millions of refugees on the earth? How the refugees, I am sure, to be able to see the world through completely different Windows.

Hehe! "Microsoft will contribute to blah blah..." Pah!

I don't understand where the skepticism comes from. Is it because Microsoft is involved or because it's hard for us to believe people want to help others?
Just check it out and make your own evaluation. If you want to participate...fantastic...if not, that's ok too.

When I click on the link you gave, there's a "page not found" message from "Windows Live Messanger", so I don't know where you took this link from, or if you made a mistake. If this IS what it's supposed to be, then it's definitely bogus. Also, I don't get it how clicking on a link would make microsoft donate more money. If someone wants to donate money, they just do it without such weird behaviour. I've seen similar "charity" scams before.
This is the reason for my skepticism. I would be glad to figure this out and see that it wasn't scam .

I'm sure the skepticism comes from that fact that it is microsoft. I have gotton forward upon forward emails, concerning something microsoft will do if you do this or do that. I have a hard time trusting anyone that is rich enough to support an entire human race for 1 full year. They wont just donate the money on their own. The public of course has to do something for them first? Listen to me being the cynic now, shame on me I will do it! but only because there is a chance it might help the less fortunate.

"Google ads" is based on the same principle. When you click a google ad link on a website, that company has to pay Google for advertising. But "clicking" isn't always that innocent.. Have you heard of Google click fraud? Companies lose (lots of) money because of competitors clicking on links (with the help of "click-bots"), forcing the others to spend their advertising budget on nothing...

Poor robyn! Perhaps you may know, all Tarantino's movies starts where they end as if drew a circle. They always return to the starting point! In the meantime you finish watching them, by deriving sometimes (aesthetic) pleasure, sometimes joy, sometimes distress, sometimes consolation, sometimes peace of mind (and heart) and so on from them, depending on which one you watch. You feel you have done what should be done-that is to watch them. As if you executed a duty. But what is you have never cared is that the movies will always starts, again and again and again, where they end. And you say, "Who cares where they start or end; what is important to me is that I do what should be done and watch them."

Incidentally, did you watch his last movie, KILL BILL gate$? Highly recommended!

What is the secret? How did you get Tarantino from Microsoft? Or better yet tell us how Microsoft is responsible for worldwide refugees? Shall we blame Bill Gates for all of the world's ills? At this rate, I could blame him for the hole I discovered in my sock this morning. Come now! Let's be a bit more logical.

That is an actual fact as well as a matter of how you regard the case. Well, let me explain how being deleted of my posts proves I am right. Simple! With the help of inference! So, my premise would be as follows:

I am censored, therefore, I am right.

OK, enough of logic lesson for now. But will be continued...

Dear friend, laughing your ass out does not strengthen your logical argument, in fact it makes you look defensive and angry. Also, your inference is full of falacies and defies logic (sorry, wishes don't count ). Italicizing it also doesn't make up for the lack of reason behind it. Can you please spare your future 'logic' lessons? Please, don't strain yourself, there are so many people out there who so desparately need your help, kindly pass on us.

Well.. Put aside the jokes, I have a common sense and am quite aware of what you stated, too. Perhaps it is worth to mention that people could help the refugees by not using Micro$oft products, too. You know, last month Micro$oft released its BadVi$ta. According to a research published by a business magazine in Turkey (Cost of WindowsVista (in Turkish) ), by upgrading all the computers in public institutions in Turkey to Windows Vista, 620.000 computers (%64,6 of all) will have to be thrown into trash, cost of which is about $310.000.000 (excluding those will require hardware upgrade.) This huge amount applies to only Turkey, and you can spread this case to all countries in the world. And what can be done with some $310.000.000 I will leave you.

Solution? Here is one:

No! It is just my interest lately. It is a long story, but after opening my eyes to Micro$oft facts, I realized how stupid of me to have used it, was; and then I searched and learnt much about the computing industry. That's all.

I am sorry, but more fool them for installing software that they dont really need. I certainly wont be. Unfortunately Microsoft have been allowed to create a monopoly and most computer users have to put up with that, and I guess you run your computer on some other system other than windows.

I can't really see how not using Microsoft software/products will stop poverty, by putting people out of work all over the world, tell me the economics of that?

Again, there is money wasted all over the world and one of my biggest bug bares is the amount of money spent on sending people into space - tell what use that is apart of designing a bit of kevlar.

That is it from me.

Sending people into space is by far more more useful and acceptable of way wasting money than paying for the Micro$oft License and its products. Because, with the first one you experience at least something different, unique- visiting space; but with the second you only experience pressing the keys "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" and/or the button "Restart"!

lol

Dear Ms. AEnigma de Sine Nomine with capital X,

We, as NASA, are very pleased to read your kind letter introducing your dear classmate, AllTooHuman, to us. We do hereby believe, now that you recommended him, he is the exact one whom we have for ages been looking for, for our current space research. We would be more than happy to make use of him, of his brilliant brain, of his deep knowledge about all fields, in our researches. However, as you know very well, sadly, NASA is not an institution providing public service for free of charge; we therefore feel that we are ready to work together with AllTooHuman as long as you are willing to pay for his costs.

We would be very thankful to you if we could hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Mike Griffin
NASA Administrator

Dear Mike,
Thank you for your kind response. I confirm that I am happy to pay ANY COST to launch AllTooHuman into space. I would particularly like him to orbit the earth so that we may see him pass by at night.

I assume the charge will be the same as for all your test monkeys?

Yours sincerely,
A de S F X
