I think elveda was exactly the right word to use and yes it still brings many tears to my eyes.

Yes it has broken my heart and in a way that i will just have to live with for the rest of my life. But i do appreciate all the posts on this site from you all. I have used so much from this site that has brought more meaning to my situation.

There is this Filipino word which shares the same meaning with ELVEDA. It is the word PAALAM. They really have identical meanings.
..and so they give the same heartaches or something.
