My opinion is.. ofcourse those words aren't everything.. but.. even during fights with my lover, even if i leave very mad at him.. i NEVER leave without saying 'i love you'. Because you never know what happens.

i think that when these words are actually said... you have to be able to actually feel them... for eg: when your saying bye on the phone and end the call with "i love you".. its just like a custom thang and u know that the person is only saying for the sake that they are about to hang up...
but.. if you are just sitting there and talking with ur spesh person and they come out wth the magical words.. and u look in their eyes.. u can see that they really mean it..
and that feels great... like true love...

Even in a fight, even when he pisses me off soooo much.. i always love him So i always mean it when i say.
And I don't think it really makes a difference if you say I love you when you hang up the phone or not. I don't do it, just because i feel its a bit exagarating. But if you say it to all your girlfriends when you hang up, you mean it differently than when you say those words to your boyfriend on a moment like you described, Miss C And both your girls and your boyfriend know what you mean with them. And that is what matters!

Saying "I love you' can just become a habit. It is better to save it for when you really mean it. I am sure it doesn't mean you are cold ishtar7, maybe just that you are choosey about who you say it too.
