Song: The Heart Asks Pleasure First (Michael Nyman)

Association: The woman in the skiff, dumb yet very beautiful, who had lost her fingers for the sake of her passion on the piano, suddenly winds the rope of the piano, which has been sinking into the sea, round her foot. She and her piano, looking like a happy couple, are now in the sea.

Place: An island surrounded by the greenish sea.

Song - Chiquitita (ABBA)

Association - A little girl is standing by the fire, keeping an eye on the horizon where the sun has been setting, as if there were no yesterday, and no tomorrow at all; her own tearful eyes tell she feels deeply alone - no friends, no playthings. Ah- she suddenly realized the tree behind her, and is beginning to smile now.

Place - a hill with grass on which rays of the sun fall generously.

Song - Hi-Lili Hi-Lo (Anne Murray)

Association - "Gimme back my toy baby", is saying Robyn to catwoman, "it is a very special gift dad gave me." "oh, really? Then I won't share my playthings with you" replies catwoman. And thus start both pulling hair of each other and then cry loudly. "Mam! Mam! Help! Catwoman has pulled my hair! See my tears!" "But...but, Mrs.Brown, she pulled mine as well. And see also my tears."

Place - a child room, full of toys, the walls of which are pink, blue, red, green and yellow.

To be honest, I am so tried of seeing and acting always with naked women during my such profession and now feel nothing when seeing a naked woman. And for I never had a child during my such career (because condoms were compulsory), I decided to devote myself to writing children's stories.

Song - Eternity Theme (Eleni Karaindrou)

Association - Whereas we all would be able to live happily together, with such a love and fraternity that no-one would desire wars, blood, and poverty; nor would make profit from them; and no-one would cause troubles, misfortunes, sorrows, and tears; and no countries, no borders, no skin-colors, and no identity cards we would create; and we would no longer suffer from any thing, living like children- the children who fly their multicoloured kites in the blue sky. For doesn't human life last, at most, a hundred years while love and fraternity lasts Eternity and a Day?

Place - A beach with cottony sands, which the peaceful waves lick up stubbornly.

Song- Lili Marlene (Marlene Dietrich)

Association-

- it is now time for me to leave, I think.. the train is about to move..
- that soon?..there is still time..
- nothing is too soon for death, we both know this..
- sshhh.. say not such things.. and this, a bunch of my hair..I cut off for you, take it with you...
- but..but I am going to the front!.and most probably I will die!..
- you won't.. cos I will be waiting for you..sshhh..stop crying..
- Lily!.Lily!..I am..I am afraid of the war, of dying, Lily!.
- Sshhh..it is ok.. now be a man and stop it..you won't die..
- I say..I will die..I know..I feel this..
- won't you kiss me?..
- I will..and don't you feel death will kiss me there.. for the first and last time?

Place - A train station the platform of which is full of young lovers whose all men are soldiers.

quite low of you to judge her like that. the film portrays a tragedy of a woman's life, which is an example of a horrible fate of most women at those times, and this is what your perverted mind can see, I'm appalled.

It is now actually me who have been appalled! I wonder how admin can manage his relation with such a feminist girl like you and how he can bear you! What does the tragedy of the woman's life to do my finding her beautiful? (She is already dumb.) Whether the film portrays a tragedy of a woman's life or how a woman discovers her sexuality or sexual instincts, I was and am taking no interest in these points in my related post. (Please re-read it.) Simply I did adore and do adore her along with her passion on the piano; I fell in love with her, and she was my one of my early loves.

But keep labeling me as pervert- it is fine. I do believe she wouldn't judge me the way you do.

Thanks for a little more elaboration of your thoughts, that was a bit more helpful then the previous stuff. You can write email to admin and ask how he manages his relationship with a feminist like me if you are so curious and have no clue how it's possible (such a discussion might bring you many revelations!). I am not surprised about your astonishment however, looking at the average male-female relationships in Turkey.

I'm sorry if I hastily judged you wrongly, please accept my apologies if the truth is far from my online perception. However, if the truth is not different from the impression I got, I have no mercy for sexist behavior or ideas.

Song - Don't Cry for me Argentina (Joan Baez)

Association - How odd! There are cases that nothing changes when you replace something with another. This song is a good example of such cases. Chile and Turkey springs to mind at once. Military coup d'etats, murders, lost people, tortures, pains, tears... Don't Cry for me Chile... Don't Cry for me Turkey...

Place - A city square at sunset whose surface is covered with the dead.

Song - Nothing Left At All (The Cranberries)

Association - Simple, very very simple songs I sometimes enjoy listening to. Lyrics must be simple and plain; so is melody, with only few chords or notes - namely, monophonic. I can't stand listening to polyphonic music all the time, though I like that kind of music so much. Who would enjoy listening to, for example, Beethoven's 9th Symphony all of the time? Simple songs such as this one I derive pleasure in listening to, beyond this interests me not. Mmmm.... Oh no is there any reason I should walk away,
Is it wrong, is it wrong to want to stay

Place - A windy boulevard where one would deeply feel cold along with music.

I hate it, I hate it, I hate it when they show in the movies that women who are passionate, who fall in love and who are fallen in love with are always skinny, have delicate facial features, are always extremely sensitive, artistic... etc!!! As if women who didn't fit into such a stereotypical looks and behavior didn't love or have sex passionately, can't be longed or lusted for. Surprisingly, don't judge men by the cover - they can have the most repelling looks, but they still can be your dream-come-true!
