Everybody read the announcement about the maximum number of messages in inbox and outbox on the frontpage? Save them or you'll loose them!

Yes, just copy-paste in a word-file, I always do that with messages or email I do not want to loose.

It will be huge job though with so many messages
How about spams?
Shame to delete them, they all so "unique".
I think TC will be crowded for these 15 days.

Yes, just the normal way I copy text, clicking right side of my mouse. No problems at all.

the changes in the PM section made me deleted my messages so easily and now i got only 1 page.

But what will be the limit? I can't find that information. How many messages/pages/bytes are we allowed to keep in our inboxes? Can someone sprecify it?
Anyway, I don't like this. To be honest, some of the threads deserve to be deleted rather than many of our private letters.

Slavica, eitherway you have to highlight the text first in order to be able to copy it, right? So how come you can do that with the ones you received but not the sent ones? It works fine here..

About the sent messages: we didn't had access to them before so every single one we can keep is extra. And if the received messages are so precious, I advise to save them anyway.

The new limit will be: 500 private messages (inbox plus outbox) baseline quota for everybody, plus additional:
- 10 pm's for each essay uploaded
- 1 pm for each picture uploaded
- 1 pm for 4 forum messages
These additions are so that people who are more active on the web site can communicate more with other users.
If your mailbox is full, you won't be able to send or receive new messages. Moderators and administrators will have unlimited space.

By the way, when you go to your private messages page, on top of it there is a link called "Quota" - click on it and it will tell you how many private messages you are allowed to have.

I just looked and I know I will never reach that quota because I delete (with or without saving) messages within a few days.

This was so funny i found messages from a year ago that i'd forgotten about in my sent box, obviously b4 you had to try and remember what you had put.... Had a great larf and a few good memories....
