Bir zamanlar sevginle ateşlenen başımı
Dizlerinin yerine dayasaydım taşlara
Hani bendim yedi renk hani tende can idim
Hani gündüz hayalin geceler rüyan idim
Demek ki senin için aşk değil yalan imiş
Acırım heder olan o en güzel yıllara '
Please I have loved thıs song for ages and means a lot to me because I started to learn turkısh AFTER lıstenıng to thıs wonderful song ın the voıce of M. Ersoy ! I would be more than greteful ıf any of you can help me wıth the translatıon!

Well it is next to impossible to accurately translate this because it is full of incompatible metaphors etc.
I've heard you forgot the color of my eyes
Wasted were the tears they shed for you
I wish I rested my head on a rock than on you
When I got the fever because of your love
You said I was your heart and soul
You said I was your dreams day and night
So it seems all was a lie for you
Now I pity all those wasted years.
The first line of the second stanza goes like "seven colors and the life of my skin" but it seems it is impossible to render them in English so I chose life and soul stuff. |

7 renk --> your everything (in this context)
tende can --> life on your skin literally
tende can --> your life (in this context)
