Quoting Dilara: As an old member I feel gloomy when I remember what this site used to be like in the past...It was a nice shelter to learn turkish and make friends, It still is a good one with many helpful members but the old members like me will understand what I meant by saying that "We have lost something" as a community...
In spite of this feeling, I wont forget all the things I learnt and shared here!
Greetings classmates, new and old ones!

Even though I haven't been here for a long time I understand what you mean. It was really nice when there was a defined group of regular users, but lately I feel that some of them are running away. It's saddening, really. The site has not changed when it comes to learning ressources, only social-wise. I can only wonder why

Quoting vineyards: Are you trying to help solve a problem or are u trying to show how to complicate matters?
As long as it is so easy for people to take new nicknames, we cannot expect them to assume the responsibility of the things they write.
I suggest that a more strict validation process is implemented which can ban not only certain nicks but also
the ip's they are associated with. This would make life a little bit more difficult for evil doers.

Quoting vineyards: What has caused this. Maybe we need more moderation. People swear at each other or ridicule one another for months and nothing happens. |
Look here! Our priest, while not having been without swears, throws sermons of swearing here and there!

Oh stop it please! You're not contributing. This is exactly what the problem is about.
