without

a pen without ink
a shirt without tie
a river without bridge
a tree without brance
a bird without wing
a poem without poet
a hell without demon
a universe without god
is like I without you.

16 April'07, Sanghai

Comments of any kind are welcome.

Nice. But I''m just curious why it's poems without poet and not a poet without poems?

Poet without poems is not a poet... but poems without poet are like orphans... that's how I see it.

Though I would try to change "bird without wing" with something else; that comparison has been rather used in poetry - shirt without tie is, for example, much stronger thanks to its freshness. (And I like it - shirt, pen, hell: unexpectable and thus strong comparisons.)

Oh, I can't agree with you, Duda.

I think that combination of expected and unexpected is what gives freshness to this poem.

I loved it, it is so strong in its simplicity!

You're getting better and better, Quazimodo, indeed

Hey, you forget I give my critics only on good poetry and good authors! And Quasimodo is always open-minded about any kind of friendly comment, not like some other people.

Though, I liked his previous ones too, very much.

Actually I was going to ask you the same question since I saw no comment from you. How come you didn't reveal or point out the sexual or pornographic content in my poem!

Quoting Quasimodo:

not sexual this time, but grammatical errors... but then again, it might have been part of the 'plan', you never know with poetry lol (of course only the amatourish one).
if you want to know my opinion, I didn't like this poem (I'm actually resisting to call it a poem), it's too simplistic, lacks depth. everybody can write something like this. Some of your other stuff was better .
