Quoting sen-kim-sin: why
love= all the tea in turkey
?? |
There's an old saying in America "I love you more than all the tea in China." I'm not sure where it originated, but I guess it's based on an assumption that there's a lot of tea in China. When I was in Turkey, I noticed everyone drinks tea and lots of it, so I was joking with my boyfriend (who's Turkish) that I love him more than all the tea in Turkey.
It's along the lines of: I love you more than all the stars in the sky, etc!!
