Boğaz Bridge on Monday...

Anyone else see the Boğazici Bridge on Monday night? It was lit up in red lights. I have never seen that before on previous holidays. I took the ferry home form Kadikoy on monday night and the site was really beau.tiful. Dozens on the boat were getting pictures with their cell phones. One of the few times I wish I had a nice, new phone...

Yeah, those bakelite phones are a bit hard to carry around 
I wish I'd been there, it looks impressive.. (the bridge I mean  )

It was national sovereignty and chidren fiest. It is celebrating for first establish of Turkish congress in 23 April 1920.

You cant see it in the pictures, but on the left, there were some white lights that are supposed to look like the star and crescent on the flag.
