Coming down some steps today from an office into the street, (in London), I majestically caught the heel of my shoe in the other trouser leg and had to leap from the step into the street, (to avoid landing flat on my face) in front of several workmen! Not one made a comment and I walked away smiling at myself ...............

I told my boss that I won the lottery. I did it so convincingly!! I watched the blood drain from his face. He looked like he would cry. I told him very calmly, that I would be leaving the country in one month...just when he looked as though he would get on one knee and beg me to stay, I started to laugh....that will teach him to drink my colas that I leave in the fridge at work!!
