What would be your 3 top wonders of Turkey? Which work of arts?(can be a mosque, a church, a bridge, a statue, ruins, any kind of building etc.)
Mine would be Sultanahmet (Blue) mosque (İstanbul), Balıklıgöl (Şanlıurfa), and Nemrut statues (Adıyaman).

My top wonders are :-
1) Ephesus - especially Celcus Library
2) Cappadocia
3) The Blue Mosque, Istanbul
I could go on and on....

My advices are :
1-"ANITKABIR", ATATURK MAUSOLEUM, ANKARA
The mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leader of Turkish War of Independence and the founder of the Republic of Türkiye (Turkey).
2- "ISTANBUL" = The nicest multicultural historical city of the world from ancient time and Roma Empire, to Turk Ottoman Empire.
3- "VIRGIN MARY HOUSE","MERYEM ANA KLİSESİ", EFES ( EPHESUS) , IZMIR
Some American Presidents, European Countries Leaders, Pope Benedict from Vatican and large number of tourists have visited this holy place for Christianity.
4- "MOUNT ARARAT - AGRI DAGI, DOGU BEYAZIT
and NOAH'S ARK - THE PROPHEST NOAH'S SHHIP
5- LAKE VAN, VAN
6- KARADENIZ DISTRICT (From SAMSUN to HOPA)

Well, thank you for your suggestions Yilgun! Not being a Roman Catholic I think I will give the Virgin Mary House a miss, but thanks anyway .
I guess Meltem was asking us each our own personal choice, so I just listed mine

The Virgin Mary's house is important from a historical perspective. She is written about in both the Koran and the Bible.

Ohmygod, is this going to turn into an argument!!!? I am sure its very nice and very interesting, it just wasn't in my TOP 3 WONDERS OF TURKEY choices!!!! Instead of criticising MY choices, doesn't anyone want to add theirs?????

Yes, everyone is free to choose theirs. There're so many nice and historically important places. This was just both for fun and sharing different places.
And yılgun, you have written Istanbul and Karadeniz district, but they are so general, I was expecting more specific answers because just in İstanbul there're hundreds of mosques, churches and so many...
