Quoting AlphaF:

OLD TURKISH ADVISE FOR GENTLEMEN

The idea of having 4 wives may seem very tempting at first glance, but not if you take time to also consider the 4 mothers-in-law that will come along.

o for 4 wifes but never for 1 mother in law even

Maybe you have never heard about this:

If the first wife doesn't let, there can't be the second one!

Sure, this is not the Turkey Republic's rule. Turkey is not an Islamic republic. The laws are far from religion.

Tell your man upfront that if he marries a second wife or another wife for that matter...

You'll leave him, divorce him, get all his money and the kids. Do it when you're comtemplating marriage... not when you've already married him, so he knows upfront that there will ONLY be ONE wife. And also, if he's a muslim he might even let you slip that cause into the marriage contract.

Girls--if you have a muslim guy, study marriage contracts. It is so so fun. Don't forget to put that he does half the housework.

especially the clause about mahr. It was one of the funniest and definitely interesting part of our marriage contract.

How many men would really want 4 wives!! I am sure for most of them, one is sufficient! Just think, all those headaches

Actually maybe it means less headache Wives maybe so occupied with giving headaches to eachother that they may not bother you at all

Seriouslly, just joking ...
