Because there has to be a limit......and the powers that be set that limit at 2!!!

So please tell me what this has to do with Turkish Language!!!

Yes - and so can you......
There is no limit on how many pictures of Turkia you can upload!!!

The limit of two applies only to personal pictures - and Trudy has only two:

Does it explain why Trudy has high score in the users page?
Trudy has posted 2245 times but she has 4528 points (as of this writing).
She seems to posted 7 essays so that should mean some points, I guess.

I am great fan of Trudy's, she deserves to be top of the class!

But let's not worry too much about the points thing. You seem to get a point for just writing "Thanks", and a point for translating 15 pages of Turkish to English. ... OK, OK, I am exaggerating a bit, but I am amazed that some of my classmates have the patience to translate 40 or 50 lines of Turkish from a very long poem. I think they deserve bonus points

What a fuss about my number of points. Jealous? Well, upload pictures so every one can enjoy them (for those who wants to know: you get 3 points for each) or write essays, it will give you 15.

I don't care with the points !! hahaha
What I care about useful partipation, friendship and learning... Thanks to all nice and interesting topics. everyday I learn more.
But those who like their points to increase they can post (hello, thank you, not at all ,....) 1000 times

Good Luck for all

Congratulation to trudy, but i am sure that most people will agree. this site is about helping each other and not who can score the most points.

Why do I get the unpleasant feeling you are implying that I uploaded pictures for points? I didn't. Admin can take them all away if he wants, I don't care. I just wanted to share the views of my trips with you and I did not ask for a reward.

Hey Trudy, our GRATITUDE is your greatest award. I love clicking on the photos and seeing places I don't know about, and you have traveled loads of places and taken some wonderful pics. You have also inspired me to pull out some of my photos and load them on. I will do that next week .. as you say, not for points, but for the pleasure of sharing the beauty of Turkey.

Trudy i was not implying any unpleasent feeling towards you in any way.I was saying my congratutaions to you because of your great achivement and all the wonderful pictures that you have shared with us,but someone did mention points and i was giving my opinion that points are not the reason peole use this site.I am truly sorry if i affended you in any way. This was not my intention.

Don't you know? Turkishclass gives a Turkey tour for a billion points lol

No, there is nothing for points. Points show how much active you are in the site.

I thought they were the numbers of the users' posts.

So what about "contribution ranking" I see when I select my "Control Panel"?
I think I have a high number there for the little number of posts I have made (80 something as of this writing) so far.

I am just curious. I dont want to sound like somebody trying to make high scores in this site (I am not).

The more you post, you get LOWER "contribution ranking" number.

That's obvious. I meant my ranking is in the range top 20 (for 80 something posts). Top 20 posters have much more than thousand posts.

So there must be some other measures for "contribution ranking".
