I am looking at trying to travel to Istanbul 12/27 of this year from USA ... thats as long as I can get my british passport .. sigh .. I dont' know how long it will take me as I will have to send it to the british embassy in washington dc. here's to hope and a prayer

In case we have the same Christmasholiday (and enough money on our bankaccounts ), we could maybe take a flight together from Amsterdam. Im actually planning to go to İzmir for Christmas (hopefully up till 5th of january), but Im not very hopeful about affordable tickets from here straight there, so I might as well consider another airport and a cheap busticket.

I want to go to Istanbul toooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Think it would be great for members to have an annual meet. It is a city that has always fascinated me and I've learnt so much about the place from this website. I have got a map and compass so we shouldn't get lost! So how many tickets are we looking at?  Mx

I'll probably have to go back to Turkey one more time for the fiance visa interview...well Ankara. But since I'm in Turkey I will have to go shopping for belly dance goods in Istanbul! I am praying for December for the interview...but it might be January.
