Can anyone explain what 'şıllık' means? According to the dictionary it is a vulgair woman but if I remind correctly, I saw a dessert with this name on the menu in Urfa.

I think it's right the way i remember this word in English is like the saying 'Mutton dressed as lamb' but not sure.

I don't know about the dessert,i think a native would know better than i,but if it tastes like a vulgar woman i don't want to try it

You have the name right. It is probably a local dessert that I do not know the taste of.
The name implies that it could be a fancy looking dessert, well ornamented.

Very few words about women are! In my experience there are far more men who dress and act far too young for their years - but I have yet to see a derogatory word about them - in any language

Not at all. If you want an INFORMED discussion on women's rights then you should speak to Catwoman. I do however, object to constant woman-bashing.
