I can see what you are saying (that you fear an Islamic State) Meltem, but don't you see the IRONY that you are asking for army intervention to defend democracy and therefore by that very act you just ignore voters and just create a different "state" which is not democratic

At this moment, I do not support any intervention because it will make the things worse. The army make declarations which I find very necessary just to make everyone be aware that his eye is and will be on them. In the coming months, years, whatever, in a or a series of bare antidemocratic, antilaic acts, decisions, then I'll support that a coup d'état takes place, but it's not because I like militarist regime but because I like my democratic laic republic.
