The Most Livable Cities!

i just read results of a research on businessweek. They list the most livable 100 cities of the world according to results..and and Istanbul is not on the list!!! lol..that is not fair!!

I think my own personal top 3 would be:-

(1) Barcelona
(2) Havana
(3) Florence

I could happily live in any of them

but i would never want to live in Zurich which the most livable city of the world always cold, cloudy, dull

i dont think so..even if london is cloudy..it also has a great atmosphere lol i dont know why but i always wanted to live there..and i dont thnik it is rainy and cloudy all the time it may be just a myth

I don't think so, besides, from what I've seen it's so very expensive to live there...

Well actually, London IS wonderful. I love to visit there as often as I can

Of course it's wonderful But visiting is one thing, living there is another..
Two years ago I was walking around and looking at rental prices out of curiosity, saw an apartment that was not very big, but nice and new, the rent was £500 and I thought hmm, that's ok. On a closer look it was £500 a week..
I forgot the name of the neighbourhood but it certainly wasn't the centre..

Well... salaries reflect the higher cost of renting/buying property in London. Its a fact that you earn a lot more in London than elsewhere in the UK

True. Still, the rental prices looked out of proportion. But that's a universal thing I guess..

Yes I think so. However, maybe its a good thing! Most people in London can't afford to live on their own, so end up with housemates and are never alone

hehehe yes it means that Amsterdam will be the first city in flood after sea level increases extremely because of glaciers melting lol Poor Dutch
