I have some different ideas;
miss a chance: "fırsatı kaçırmak". But it can be : "şansı elinden kaçırmak" and also: "fırsatı elinden kaçırmak" as well.

waste an opportunity: "bir fırsatı boşa harcamak"

donate: "bağış yapmak" sounds better for me, bağışlamak or hibe etmek could be ok but you have to say what you give as material. as example: "bir kitap bağışladı" he gave a book as donation. You can't say only "bağışlamak", but you can say "bağış yapmak" itself, and also by saying the amount of money.

waste an opportunity: "bir fırsatı boşa harcamak"

to waste = 'boşa harcamak' or 'çarçur etmek'

=> don't waste your time.
(sen) (senin) vaktini boşa harcama.
or
Vaktini çarçur etme.
=> don't waste my precious time.
(sen) (benim) değerli vaktimi boşa harcama.
or
Değerli vaktimi çarçur etme.
=> don't waste your money.
Paranı boşa harcama.
or
Paranı çarçur etme.

to refuse = 'reddetmek' or 'geri çevirmek'

for example:
I offered to help him, but he refused.
=> (Ben) ona yardım etmeyi teklif ettim, ama (or fakat) o (bunu) geri çevirdi.
or
.....Ona yardım etmeyi teklif ettim ama o (bunu) reddetti.

example:
Hasan proposed marry to ayşe, but she refused.
=> Hasan ayşeye evlenme teklif etti, ama o (or Ayşe) bunu reddetti.
=> Hasan ayşeye evlenme teklif etti, ama o bunu geri çevirdi.
