I hope this one doesn't offend anyone, but I am curious, is it just me or are there others who find that certain men (cough) are very moody? when I say moody I mean, pouty, always want their own way, and do not fight fair?
The typical american male does not fight the same way a turkish male does. and I am curious about it. Is it the upbringing of males in turkey? or is it just that they are more emotional so to speak - something american males just aren't very good with. Now that I have confused everyone .. including myself .. I will click the send button and see what happens ..

Yes, it's not just you! Men in general are moody a lot - it's because of their hormones (ex: viney). Of course it's not just Turkish males, though Turkish males show it differently (but also Turkish females are much more 'emotional' then American females). In general, I like the fact that Turkish males are more emotionally expressive then American males, I think it makes them mentally healthier and less passive-aggressive.
I wouldn't just say pouty and don't fight fair, but also just plain moody.

I disagree with you both. I think there are some people who are moody and some who are not. I don't think it has anything to do with male/female or turkish/non-turkish. I think temperment is something that is hardwired into your brain regardless of where or who you are. I know my husband is always very mellow and almost never looses his temper or gets upset. Me, on the other hand -lets just say I am the opposite.

I didn't say anything contradictory to what you said, however - it is important to realize that men show their moodiness slightly differently then women do - in more socially acceptable ways. If you take it into account, men and women are moody to very similar extents.

I agree with you of course, that everyone is moody to a different and individual degree. But I am glad to hear that men also may have hormones which affect them! Instead of this being always only attributed to women...

Men have hormones???? OMG say it isn't so!!!
I had to let that one out!! Yes turkish men appear to be more emotional and yes I believe it makes them more emotionally stable - I think .. but they don't fight fair!!!

Hey, you are giving me much more credit than I deserve! I'm not a 'specialist', I just know more about men than I know about cars (which is zero)...!

But femme, I think you are the right person to start a course of several lessons about 'men and their behaviour'. I think you'll be a wonderful teacher!!! lol

We can call her class, "The Truth about Men". We can have beginner, intermediate and advanced classes! I don't think I would pass though but it would be fun to watch. Femme - I need help...I still love men so!

I agree with Catwoman in that its healthier for men to express their emotions, but it may get a bit tiring!

My advice (which never lets me down) is to imagine all men are 3 year olds - and treat them accordingly (emotionally of course, not literally!)

We credit them with far too much complexity, when in fact they are emotionally very simple

Are the levels based on what a student knows or about what she can handle?
