Tommorrow there will be no cats

**yarın kedi olmayacak
in this sentence we prefer to make it "singular" as "plural" sounds weird when you speak

As far as I know we use plural endings in Turkish talking about people and we don't use them for animals, plants and inanimate objects.

So what you are saying is that "yok" can be used for past and present but not for future - is that right???

I think so - 'var' and 'yok' are used for past and present, olmak is used for future.......
kedi yoktu - there were no cats
kedi yok - there are no cats
kedi olmayacak - there will be no cats
