Quoting Deli_kizin:

For some reason us learners always pick out the irregular forms

I did read somewhere that Türkçe doesn't have irregularities!!!
I should learn not to believe everything I read :-S

There is no such thing as a language without irregularities But comparing to other languages, we can definitely state that Turkish has only a few irregularities.

My german teacher always tells us proudly how the German language is build up from rules. Yeah, very nice..but every rule he teaches us, is accompanied with only 'a few exceptions'. Whereas in Turkish, the irregularaties mostly have to do with pronunciation-simplifying (oh how good when English is not your mothertongue :-S) and otherwise just need to be learnt by heart. There aren't as many as in other language, that is!
