why do people do that.....when  famous singer dies their sales skyrocket making them a fortune when it´s too late for the star......he died broke ......now the royalties just from radio plays in the last 2 days would rebuy the ranch out right!!!

why buy his stuff now that he´s dead?  surely if you were a fan you would already have his albums

 This made me laugh a bit.....yes I do have his LPs....from the 1980s!  Really don´t know why I still have all my LPs because I don´t have a turntable for them anymore.   Now I will probably go and buy them on itunes! 

 LP´s heh heh I have a few 45´s tucked away myself ha ha..... you can get a usb turntable..... nothing like spinning a few tunes

 I have a LOT of LPs...I used to tape them to keep the actual vinyl safe.  I really have to get a system to digitize them...but should I keep them stored? I must admit, keeping stuff around gets tedious.

I think I  have about 300 LP´´s. As long as you use a good quality stylus and store them vertically in a place free from dust and humidity, they will last for ages. If you have a good hifi system, you´ll get the best mileage by keeping them. If you keep them just because they are not available on another medium, you might consider getting one of those phono to usb converters (e.g. from Project Audio). If you decide to discard them you might send them over to me instead 

You may know it yourself too. Don´t ever attempt to listen to the LP´s in your collection with a stylus whose condition you don´t know. This will ruin all the LP´s you listen.
