Religious education should be offered by families first, then by the elders of that religioun... never by the State.

State should always be at equal distance from every existing religion and their possible sects...and control that no community preaches against the unity and common interests of the nation.

Atheists should also have a fair chance..

+10000

but atheists should also have a sort introduction.
children are not born atheists/muslims/christians, they are mainly raised/brainwashed in their environment.

I agree. By improving the accuracy of information about ALL religions, I believe the number of athiests would rise....

I think religious education in schools is a good idea, so long as it's actual education about all different religions. With only the purpose of education. I think its a major thing in the world, and whether it be just for social knowledge, political reasons or knowldge of different cultures, having knowledge of religions is needed. However, it should be religious education...not religious persuasion. When it comes to teachers abusing their position to try to persuade people to be more religious or anything where they abuse their role, they should be punished. But how did he 'force' them to pray etc?
